Correction Regarding Income For Life Model
July 7, 2008
An article in the July 2008 issue of Retirement Income Reporter incorrectly described the Income for Life Model planning software from Wealth2K, the Massachusetts-based developer of communications technology and retirement income planning solutions.
The Income for Life Model was correctly described in the March 2008 issue of RIR. That description appears below.
Wealth2K, the Massachusetts-based developer of communications technology and retirement income planning solutions, has introduced an updated version of its all-in-one web-based solution for advisers who want to expand their retirement income capabilities.
The solution, called The Income for Life Model, offers advisers a pre-packaged, personalized microsite that helps them recruit and educate prospects and clients, as well as illustrate and build retirement income strategies.
The site also includes flash videos that allow advisers to tell the story of retirement income planning in presentations that have already been found to be compliant with FINRA regulations, said David Macchia, Wealth2Ks CEO. The tool has an open architecture that allows the integration of guaranteed and non-guaranteed investment and income products.
Its retirement planning system is based on a bucket or ladder approach that divides assets among six five-year periods with graduated levels of risk. The Income for Life Model will be marketed individually to independent advisers as well as to broker/dealers for use by their registered reps and affiliated advisers.
The product is designed to be used with Traject, Wealth2Ks proprietary web-based adviser communication tool.
